Physical Therapy & Massage Therapy

Healthcare Reimagined

Hands-On Healthcare

Located near downtown Milton (Crabapple), we are a Sports Medicine clinic with a team of expert therapists offering private, 1:1 treatments in a quiet and relaxed environment. Our team of experts with advanced certifications provide faster, superior outcomes to that of other clinics. We work with many professional athletes, executives, and those who prefer the help of specialists and experts in their field.

We offer a vast array of manual techniques for the treatment of pain and dysfunction associated with sports injuries, chronic pain, disease, stress, and pregnancy. Here at AMT, your appointment time is not shared with anyone else which reduces the overall cost of treatment despite the slightly higher initial out-of-pocket cost.

We do not accept any types of insurance. Insurance does not see the value in 1:1 care and does not reimburse specialists for their advance training and certifications more than your average or below-average therapist. We can provide a Superbill to submit to your insurer but no guarantee can be made regarding reimbursement.

No referral? No problem. Our therapists are highly trained in differential diagnosis and will refer you to a different specialist if necessary. We also work with local Physicians to ensure safety and provide the continuity of care you desire. No more headaches dealing with referral forms and insurance authorizations! Welcome to Advanced Manual Therapies.

Areas of Practice

Osteopractic physical therapy

An Osteopractor is a physical therapist or medical doctor that has completed an evidence-based post-graduate training program in the use of spinal and extremity high-velocity low-amplitude thrust manipulation, dry needling, instrument-assisted manual therapies, and differential diagnostics for the management of neuromusculoskeletal conditions.

Osteopractic Physical Therapy is an approach to care, a sub-specialty within physical therapy, and more accurately describes the kind of physical therapy services (rather than simply "physical therapy") offered so the public, potential patients and colleagues alike, can identify the appropriate practitioner of choice for the condition in question.

Massage therapy

Massage therapy encompasses many different techniques. In general, therapists press, rub, and otherwise manipulate the muscles and other soft tissues of the body in order to promote relaxation, increased flexibility, and reduction in fascial restrictions and tension. Massage has been used for hundreds of years and continues to be a great alternative to medical care for treatment and management of many conditions.

pelvic floor physical therapy

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy is a branch of PT using the principles and treatment approaches of common musculoskeletal and neuromuscular interventions on the muscles of the pelvic floor.  Pelvic Physical Therapy utilizes both external and internal assessment to test the patient’s functional ability, then provides a comprehensive plan of care to reach the patients goals. These goals can include improving the strength and coordination of pelvic floor muscles; alleviate pain, weakness and dysfunction in the muscles as well as limit severity of prolapses, incontinence and other conditions associated with the pelvic floor.
