Integrative Manual Therapy


What is integrative manual therapy?

This integrated systems approach deals with in depth diagnostics followed by structural and then functional rehabilitation. It is a non-invasive, healing modality based on scientific research and implemented gently with human hands and has yielded dramatic results for people with a wide variety of ailments.


How is it done?

It is good to wear comfortable and loose clothing. The therapist will check the range of movement, and then you may lie on the treatment table.

A thorough diagnostic mapping with hands on and hands off will follow. Specific techniques addressing the skeletal systems with positional releases and muscle energy will be applied first. Then going deeper fulcrums are applied to let the tissue reorganize itself. The techniques are gentle. Fascial restrictions in all different tissue types are addressed. The functions of the organs are felt and nudged into an integrated rhythm, tensions in blood vessels, toxins in the body , the lymphatic system, nervous system, the endocrine system, all systems are being worked on in the order of what needs it most.

Since little to no force is applied this system can benefit every age group. It is a fine tuning of the entire body


How often is it done?

Several sessions are recommended. Sessions should be scheduled at least for 1 ½ hours at a time, if not more. Maintenance sessions are recommended
